Ferndale Mews Bed and Breakfast is 1.3 miles from Southmead Hospital, about a 25 minute walk.
The Southmead Hospital site opened in 1902 and grew to currently occupy some 60 acres. It has many specialist units and a Hospital training centre. It is currently undergoing a £430 million building project scheduled to finish in 2014 when it will have over 800 beds and 2,700 on-site parking places.
